Fresh New Home

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the bright, beautiful women raising babies.

And Happy Mother’s Day to me! I have a new website!!

Please visit the new home of Florida Scarf, explore the pages, subscribe, follow, leave a message, and tell your friends.

It’s been a busy year so far and I’m thrilled about this latest accomplishment. I have been working since February with graphic designer extraordinaire Laura Ferrioli of Painted Peak Design. She is a great friend and an even better creative partner. A new Florida Scarf would not have been possible without her.

A fresh website means a fresh start for my career. There is a lot on my horizon. Beginning in June, I will be back in El Paso, Texas. Living in Pennsylvania these past nine months have been wonderful, but my family and I are moving on. Once I am settled in El Paso I will resume painting. I’ll be sharing all my new paintings here. If you would like me to paint for you please contact me. Sadly, my sewing machine will remain in storage for now. There are a few of you that have asked for special orders once the sewing machine is back out. I have not forgotten you. My life as a mother demands that I choose one, or the other, right now. And I have chosen to continue to paint for a while longer.

I am also in the early stages of a new online shop with Society6. This new shop is a work in progress. I have been spending most of my effort on the website itself. Unlike my Etsy shop, this new shop is all merchandise. There will be no handmade items. I can get my artwork printed on just about anything! And you can buy it!! If you have a favorite painting of mine that you would like to see merchandised please let me know. I’ll be sure to get it in the shop first.

And, of course, I will be back blogging weekly, chronicling my life as a girl balancing family, fun, and a creative career. Thanks for reading today. Say hi to your mom for me.
