I spent the past couple of days in Philadelphia. In between beer drinkings I attempted to exercise my brain and my legs. I went on a one hour walk and collected as many iphotos of public art as I could find. It wasn’t too long before I was taking too many photos of too many random things, (buildings, sculptures, public pools, stickers, mosaics, and spray paint) and I decided to focus on the murals. The city of Philadelphia has commissioned over 500 murals. It’s as if the streets are a living museum; much more exciting for a city hike than walking through the halls of an actual museum.
